I first established my footing in the sands of Fripp Island in the spring of 1993. As with the shifting tide, I’ve seen our tiny island grow with new life bursting from its seams, from sea turtles bubbling from their nests to twin fawns taking their first breaths. This natural retreat has drawn me to stay for over three decades.

Over twenty years ago, I opened Mangos Island Gifts & Apparel with the mission of providing locally curated gifts with the highest quality to the homeowners and visitors to the island. My priorities have never wavered as I’ve continued to source products from local artisans and small businesses.

Four shop dogs, and over three dozen women employed later - I’ve found that no matter how strong the current may be, support can be found in even the smallest of tide pools. Support for our island, support for our local community, support for our souls. Solace can be found for us all, just as I found it thirty years ago.

As the tide begins to shift again, I am thrilled to take you on the journey with me. I look forward to sharing our new adventure with you soon and am thankful for your continued support through it all!
